- Retail purchasing group (garden centers), based in Isle d’Abeau — IT project management.
- Rollout of a WebShop (Lundi Matin platform) and integration of the logistics partner Teract.
- Coordination of flows between the ERP (Microsoft Dynamics Navision 2017), the PIM (Affineo), the WebShop, and logistics.
- Pace: 2 days/week since August 2026.
Relaunching a multi-country PoS project after an initial failure
European group — optical & health retail · 2000+ stores · multi-country · advisory engagement
- European group in the optical sector, more than 2000 retail and health stores.
- A first common point-of-sale (PoS) project, driven from headquarters, had already failed: countries not aligned, business complexity underestimated (multiple CRMs, mutual insurance systems incompatible from one country to another).
- Repositioning: France builds its own PoS in-house; the group then relaunches the project for the other subsidiaries based on this local proof of value.
- My role, as an advisor: specify the PoS ↔ ERP/CRM interfaces per country — not build in their place — and draw the line between what’s common to the group and what stays local country by country (e.g. courtesy titles in Germany, mutual insurance systems that differ widely from one country to another).
- Governance rethought: France stays lead on the PoS, each country keeps its own IT teams as internal integrators.
